BRHpottery

BRH Pottery is a working studio shaped by the Sonoran Desert. This site is a place to share functional ceramics, documented processes, and explore the landscape that informs the work, from clay and firing to wildlife, surface, and form. Move through the site to see finished pieces, studio notes, and the systems behind how this work is made, and how those systems continue to evolve over time.

Music in the Studio

  • Artist: Not identified.
  • Title: No title.
  • Genre: No genre.
  • Listen: No source.

I primarily queue music from soundcloud.com because that's what I mostly listen to. Every now and then, I will add in music from Apple Music.

Made these cups several months ago. I tested them out for some low standing coffee cups, but to be honest, they got very hot. Probably the reason for handles on cups 🙂 Anyway, they make nice tumblers for cold beverages. I loved that the glaze broke over the texture. They turned out very well in my opinion. I should have taken more pictures but didn’t think other angles would matter.
