This desert is a mosaic of interdependence—where bats pollinate saguaros, coyotes regulate prey, and flash floods carve new paths for life. It’s a fragile balance, shaped by fire, water, and heat, yet endlessly resilient. When I work clay, I feel part of that cycle: earth reshaped by water and hardened by fire. Each piece is a reflection of the desert’s truth—that survival and beauty are inseparable.
