BRH Pottery

The Northern Cardinal inhabits desert riparian corridors, backyards, and mesquite thickets throughout the Sonoran region. Unlike most songbirds, both males and females sing, especially during the early breeding season. Cardinals are non-migratory and maintain year-round territories, feeding on seeds, fruits, and insects that remain available even during high temperatures.

More About Nae:Tek

The Sonoran Desert contains one of the world’s most diverse arid ecosystems, shaped by two distinct rainy seasons and dramatic temperature swings. Saguaro forests, mesquite flats, and volcanic foothills create micro-habitats that support thousands of species. Even small shifts in rainfall patterns can change color, texture, and mineral movement across the landscape.
